Privacy Policy

CADWiz™ ("we") is operated by [ENTITY NAME — WizLabs, pending counsel]. This policy explains what we collect on cadwiz.app and what we do with it. Written to be read by humans.
What we collect
Challenge and project submissions. If you submit a challenge or share a project, we collect what the form shows: your name or handle, your email address, your challenge or project description, and any optional details you choose to add (such as FreeCAD experience or printer type). Nothing is collected beyond what the form displays.
Beta program applications. If you apply for the beta, we collect the information in that form so we can contact you about the program and decide who joins each group. That form asks for your name, email address, GitHub username, the city/state/country you are in, an age range, your CAD and 3D-printing experience, what you would like to build, your accessibility needs if you tell us about them, and which agreements you ticked. We record which agreements you ticked and when, because that record is what our promises to you rest on. We do not ask for, see, or store your AI provider account details or payment information — your API key stays on your own computer.
Ordinary server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) records standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. We use these for security and to keep the site working.
What we don't do. No advertising trackers. No sale of your information. No hidden analytics beyond the basics above.
How submissions are processed
Challenge submissions receive a fully automated response generated by CADWiz. No human reviews your submission before the automated response is produced. Do not include confidential information, personal data about other people, or anything you would not want processed by an automated system.
How we use your information
- To generate and deliver the automated response you requested
- To contact you about your submission or beta application
- To improve CADWiz (submissions may be reviewed by the founder/team AFTER the automated response, for product improvement)
- To send you occasional product updates — only if you ticked the optional updates box. We do not email anyone who did not opt in, except to respond to their own submission.
- To keep the site secure and functioning
Where it lives and how long
Submissions are stored in our database (Cloudflare D1, US region) for as long as needed for the purposes above. You can ask us to delete your submissions at any time (below).
Your choices
Email us at [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We'll respond within 30 days.
Children
cadwiz.app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted on the site.
